It's Time for Pumpkin Festival!

Check out all the pandas in their Halloween costumes visiting the Cauldron of Prizes. Yes, the Pumpkin Festival is in full swing in Pandanda Land. There are so many cool things to see and do!

The Pandanda citizens had decorated with pumpkins and vines, and you can hear spooky music and sounds in many rooms as you travel around Pandanda. They have even somehow managed to make it always night time - not the darkest night, but just dark enough to be a little spookier!

A magic mirror has appeared in Bear Hollow. I wonder what happens if you walk up to it? And make sure to visit Draco the Ghost in the Parlour. He has some Quests for you to complete. You will also find that some of the other Quest givers have some special Halloween Quests for you.

You will want to pick up all of the Halloween Candy you see laying around Pandanda. Then you can visit the Cauldron of Prizes in West Market Street to trade your candy for its awesome prizes. Yes, Black Panda Paint is back this year, and it is available to everyone, Elite members and non-members alike!

The House and Tree Catalog has been updated, including a couple of mysterious wallpapers for your treehouse, and some spiderwebs, too. And Farmer Ned still has a collection of jack-o-lanterns for sale. So get in there and decorate your treehouse for Halloween!
I'll leave the rest a surprise for you but I'll show you 2 wallpapers and the spiderwebs!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot! There is a secret prize hidden for you somewhere in Pandanda!  If you have trouble finding it, ask other players. Here is a clue!

It's in the Parlour. To get there you have to go to Pawthorne Forest. Then go into Misty Hill, then go into The Parlour!

Events for September and October!

I know I already told you about September but this is a post by Henry he did on his blog I would like to share with you!

Henry just updated the Pandanda Calendar with lots of events for September and October. Check them out!

September

• 12th - "Follow That Arrow" Blog Contest begins. It's your chance to win a 3-month Elite Membership!
• 24th - Zing Ballyhoo returns to Pandanda.
• 26th - Blog Contest winners are announced
• 29th - Game Day

October

• 1st - Zing's 2nd Prize
• 8th - Zing's 3rd Prize
• 10th - Orange Colour Day
• 17th - Pumpkin Festival Begins
• 22nd - Ghost Potion Day
• 24th - Pandanda's 3rd Anniversary
• 27th - Free Elite Member Day
• 31st - Halloween

As the date for each event gets closer, Henry will give you more information about it on his Blog. And don't be surprised if Henry announces even MORE events besides the ones on the calendar. Sometimes a cool event idea just pops into his head!

Last Day of Pumpkin Festival Was Thursday!

Hey Pandas!

That's right, Thursday was the absolute last day of the Pandanda Pumpkin Festival! It's all over for this year!


It was also be your last chance to visit Draco the Ghost in The Parlour of the Haunted House. If you were working on one of his Quests, I hope that you completed the Quest and returned to Draco to get your Panda Power and coins. Now Draco bids farewell to Pandanda, you will no longer be able to turn in his Quests.

Thursday was also the last day to get the hidden Halloween shirt. If you haven't found it yet, then sorry, you will have to wait to get the next prize next Halloween!

Yes, Thursday was the end of some things, but don't worry! We are going to have fun in November. November 8th is another weird and wonderful Wacky Outfit Day. It's your chance to dress your panda in the most mixed-up, crazy outfit you can find.

Pandanda's traveling friend Zing Ballyhoo will be back on November 14th with more Golden Tickets and interesting prizes. During Thanksgiving Week, November 21-27, you can log in to get a special Thanksgiving gift for your panda. And on Saturday, November 26th, you can give thanks for another awesome Free Elite Member Day!

Henry has got a few other things under his hat for November, but you'll just have to be patient to find out what they are! As always, the place to get the most up-to-date information about what is going on in Pandanda is right here in Henry's, mine, or any other Panda's Blog!

Dia de los Muertos in Pandanda

Hey pandas!

Today and tomorrow we are celebrating Dia de los Muertos /Day of the Dead in Pandanda. In some cultures the two days of November 1st and 2nd are called All Saints Day and All Souls Day. But whatever you call it, these are days to gather with your friends and family to remember, honor, and celebrate loved ones who have died.

One of the traditions connected with Day of the Dead is the use of skulls. Decorated skull masks, and chocolate or sugar skulls to eat are very popular. When you log into Pandanda during Day of the Dead, make sure to go by the Clothing Co. on East Market Street to get your free 2nd Edition Day of the Dead Mask from the catalog. It is really cool! Check out Mod Jule in last year's Day of the Dead mask.

While you are at East Market Street, don't forget to look for the hidden Halloween gift. I've seen lots of pandas wearing the gift, and it still makes me jump when the t shirt flashes "BOO!" Awesome!

You have today, tomorrow, and Thursday to finish collecting candy for the Pumpkin Festival. Make sure to exchange your candy for the prizes in the Cauldron of Prizes before the end of the day on Thursday, so you don't miss out!

Costume Day Thursday!

Thursday is Costume Day in Pandanda! Halloween is creeping closer and closer, so come celebrate the season and show off your favorite Pandanda costume!

I have seen some really interesting and creative costumes during the Pumpkin Festival, where pandas have taken parts of different costumes, and mixed and matched them in cool and unique ways. If you think you have a really awesome costume, send me a picture of your player card so I can check it out. You can send your pictures to screenshots@pandanda.com.

You've still got one week of Pumpkin Fest left to collect Halloween candy to trade for the items in the Cauldron of Prizes. That should be plenty of time to get all of the prizes that you want! And next week you have a chance to get 2 special gifts - one on Halloween Day and one for the two-day Day of the Dead celebration! I'll tell you more about those days soon!

Prepare to Haunt Pandanda!

Happy Monday, everyone! The Pumpkin Festival has really gotten off to an awesome start! I hope you were able to spend some time in Pandanda over the weekend, collecting Halloween candy to trade for cool things from the Cauldron of Prizes.

Don't forget to check out the new items in Fitch's catalog at the Clothing Co. on East Market Street. You'll find some brand new things, as well as some old favorites in new colors. I've been really impressed at some of the outfits you fashionable pandas come up with. You really know how to mix and match, and accessorize!

Make sure to stock up your backpack with Paige's Haunted Potions today, because tomorrow is Ghost Potion Day! I challenge you to keep yourself a ghost the whole time you are in Pandanda tomorrow! The Haunted Potion is just 15 coins.

You can earn coins by selling the fish you catch to Fishy Joe, by selling fruits and veggies to Tammy or Farmer Dan, selling gems and coal to Jim. You can also earn coins by playing the mini games, Bunny Chase, and Ghosts of Misty Hill. I've heard that if you are good at Dragon's Revenge and Dragon's Treasure, you can really earn a bunch of coins in a short time!

Pumpkin Festival Starts Today!

Hey guys!





It's time! Time for the residents of Pandanda to decorate with pumpkins and jack-o'-lanterns, and to play spooky music. Time for the ghosts to leave Misty Hill and float all around the island. And almost time to hunt for Halloween candy scattered all over Pandanda Land and to collect it in your pumpkin basket, then trade it at the Cauldron of Prizes for really cool stuff!


Yes, the Pumpkin Festival begins today, and I am so excited! This is one of my favorite festivals! In addition to the awesome decorations, music and prizes, there will be some extra Quests. You'll also be able to shop for Halloween costumes from the Clothing Co on East Market Street.


I think you will really like what the Cauldron of Prizes has to trade for the candy you collect! You'll have almost 3 whole weeks to collect enough candy to get all of the prizes. The Pumpkin Festival will end on November 3rd.


There are some other fun events coming up soon. Tuesday the 18th is Ghost Potion Day, and Thursday the 27th is Costume Day. Both of those events have been added to the Pandanda Calendar, so check them out!

Orange as a Pumpkin in Pandanda!

Hey Orange Pandas!



Ooooh, I am really starting to get excited about October! This is one of my most favorite times of the year! I love the cooler weather, and the leaves on the trees turning to beautiful colors of red, yellow and ORANGE. It seems everywhere I look, ORANGE pumpkins are starting to appear, some even already carved up as jack-o-lanterns.

The Pumpkin Festival will begin on Friday, with lots of Halloween candy around Pandanda land for you to collect and trade for cool Pumpkin Festival prizes. To help us get into the spirit for the festival, let's celebrate tomorrow with the 2nd Annual ORANGE PANDA DAY!

I want to see everyone dressed in ORANGE today! There is orange Panda Paint in the clothing catalog at the Clothing Co. on East Market Street that everyone can buy. It's just 50 coins! So make your Panda orange, then pile on anything else you have in your closet that is orange. Make the pumpkins jealous of your glowing ORANGE colour!

 Henry will be making some surprise visits to Pandanda today to see all of the ORANGE. You can also send him pictures of you and your friends having fun on ORANGE DAY. If you take a bunch of pictures, choose just one, or make a collage of photos into one image, then send it to me at screenshots@pandanda.com, with ORANGE DAY in the subject line. Make sure to include your panda name in your email. I'll post some here on my blog and Henry will post them on his blog, and he put them all into a Facebook album.

October is Here!

This is just another thing about October hehe.

hope your October has gotten off to a grand start! Zing has revealed his 4th prize to finish off his construction theme. Many of you already have it, but if you don't, you still have until Sunday to collect ten tickets and get the prize before Zing leaves.

The October calendar has some fun events scheduled - Orange Color Day is Wednesday, October 12th, the Pumpkin Festival begins on Friday, October 14th, Pandanda's 2nd Anniversary is on Monday, October 24th, and, of course, Halloween is on Monday, October 31st.

But that's not all! Henry has planned a few other events that will be added to the calendar soon. He added a Ghost Potion Day on Tuesday, October 18th. Yes, the Ghost Potions will be returning for the Pumpkin Festival, and I want to see Pandanda haunted by hundreds of ghosts on that day!

And what would October be without a Halloween Costume Day? I expect to see lots of costumed Pandas on Thursday, October 27th

Let's get in the costume spirit tomorrow by celebrating costumes for your head - Hat Day! Look through your closet, find your favorite hat, and wear it all day tomorrow, October 6th. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's head covered by something interesting!
