Pandanda Servers

We have recently had several inquiries about private servers running Pandanda. Please be aware, Sunleaf Studios has not licensed Pandanda to anyone or given permission to any other site to run a Pandanda server.

Any site other than www.pandanda.com that is hosting Pandanda is running an illegal pirated copy of Pandanda. These sites are in violation of copyright and trademark law and are neither authorized or endorsed by Sunleaf Studios.

Why we don't license Pandanda to other sites:

1) Our most import goal in running Pandanda is the safety of our players. Live moderators, database security, chat filters, and customer support are just a few of the requirements to ensure the safety and protection of players, particularly in a virtual world designed for younger players. Without our complete control over a site, we are unable protect the players. The site may have inadequate firewalls to prevent someone from stealing your password or the files could contain computer viruses or malicious code to harm your computer. We will not risk the safety of Pandanda players.

2) Although the Pandanda virtual world is currently suspended, we are still working on using the Pandanda brand for other projects in the future. This requires us to maintain control of the Pandanda trademark and all content and ensure the quality of all Pandanda products meet our approval.

If you come across another website running a copy of Pandanda on their own servers, please let us know by emailing us at support@pandanda.com. These sites are operating illegally and Sunleaf Studios will aggressively defend its copyright and pursue criminal charges as necessary.

Children in Need! / Quick Hello!

Hey my old Panda Pals!

I guess many of you have moved on... Found other websites, forgotten about Pandanda or forgotten about the internet even...

I'll keep posting the occasional post every now and then...

But now for some other stuff!

 

Today is Children in Need! Tonight on BBC 1 is Children in Need where different celebs do different things on stage to raise money to help the children in need. In many Primary Schools or maybe even other school you wore spots to school and brought in a pound?



In my school which is Secondary School (High School) we just went in as normal with some money to spend. Different forms did different stools. Our form did a bake sale and I bought in many cupcakes decorated with lots of things. Some I did as a Pudsey face. I'll see if one day I can get the photo I took of them and put them on this blog for everyone to see. The stools were out at lunch but unfortunately, I had my guitar lesson through lunch and all the cakes got sold out. Our form raised about £70 !!!!!!!

 

Matt Baker from Country File, The One Show and many other things did the Richshaw Challenge. All you need to do is text the word: TEAM to 70705 to donate 5 pounds to Children in Need!

Pingu83846 Memory from Email is on Pandanda Henry's Blog!

Hey Pandas!

Guess what?! My (Pingu83846) little part from an email is on Henry's Blog on his Memories Page!
Many other pandas memories are on there too!
There are also a couple of memory videos too! The videos are very good and the memories are very nice too!

I am Pingu83846 on Pandanda.  I joined on the 8th of January 2010 when I was 8 years old. Today it is the 22nd of October 2012. I am now 11 years old and I have been playing Pandanda for nearly 3 years. I have loved Pandanda for those years.

I have many memories on Pandanda. On the day I joined, I met a panda called Sammy19. We met in East Market Street.  I also met Buxton in Bear Hollow. We have been friends since a few weeks of being on Pandanda. Also Safe99 I met on Pandanda in Willow,  Bear Hollow, on the right side of the fountain. We met in April 2011. Safe99 is now Safe9999. I have lots of great friends on Pandanda like Sunnyday55, Alex55333, Goofyericson, Omma14, Pannu25, Sissyiscool and many more!

We want to say thank you to the Pandanda Designers for making Pandanda look absolutely amazing and wonderful! Thank you to the Pandanda Moderators for coming on and chatting to us pandas and playing games with us. Also, thanks for making sure Pandanda is keeping well and nobody is being bad! Thank you to Sheriff Steele for making sure Pandanda is a great safe place where nobody can worry about anything!

Most of all... Thank you so much to Henry who made Pandanda, who came online to talk to pandas, organized things on Pandanda, writing your blog always up to date so pandas could see what is happening in Pandanda, you brought us pandas together and the best thing of all, you made Pandanda! Thank you to the rest who made Pandanda!

Some people actually spend whole days on the site you all made! I know it sounds a bit sad sitting in front of a computer screen all day, but they actually LOVE Pandanda and they spend ages on it! Doing quests, looking after dragons, chatting to friends, buying things, selling things, decorating themselves, decorating their treehouse and much more!
Goodbye... Pandanda... You will always be in my heart... everybody's heart..

SmallWorlds Console / Moving On!

Dear Panda Pals,

Pandanda has shut down...
But Pingu and Safe's PD Console will remain open. But... the main blog I will post about it my blog 'SmallWorlds Console'
I do it with Safe and Goofy. On SmallWorlds Safe9999 is Safe Bob. Goofyercison is Aishwarya Muralidhar. I am Abi Cook the 4th.

I have started the blog before but never done it as well as this blog. So I will re-open it. If you have a SmallWorlds account, there will be a party at 'Hoteles Elba Sara' 31st of October 2012 at 9:00AM British Time. Another party at 8:30AM British Time on that same day but at 'Waterfall Beach'

The Glitch is Fixed Officially!

Well, some pandas could get into Pandanda if they have been playing Pandanda with Google Chrome. Not if you quickly download it or you have it but didn't play Pandanda with it. You had to always play Pandanda with Google Chrome for the glitch to work. Just don't delete cookies, history ,etc.
I was one of the ones who had Google Chrome but don't use it. I use Mozilla Firefox. I don't know if Safe could but Goofy was lucky and she could play Pandanda!
You needed to go onto Henry's Pandanda Blog, which will always stay open, then press 'Play Now' Then it would come up as normal.
But other pandas on other browsers or new Google Chrome users will just get this:

But unfortunately that glitch has been fixed and now everyone can't play Pandanda anymore.
It's now officially closed.

Pandanda has Gone!

Dear Pandas,

It is with great sadness that we have had to close Pandanda, as of Sunday, October 28th 2012.  Pandanda has been a labor of love and we are deeply saddened that due to financial reasons, we can no longer sustain ongoing development. Over the past four years we have grown an amazing community and we will miss you all. Your enthusiasm and creativity has been such a joy to everyone on the Pandanda team. Thank you to our loyal fans and members for all of your love and support over the years.  -The Pandanda Team

It's gone! Pandanda has closed...
We will find another website to write about. I have one about SmallWorlds called, "SmallWorlds Console" But I never play SmallWorlds anymore. Also, SmallWorlds is an age 13+
Safe, Goofy and I will all find another, age sutable website to write about. We will announce what it is about and what it is called when we have made one.

Henry says thank you for all of the emails of support that you have sent him. He has read them all.
Your offers of donations, suggestions of ways to keep Pandanda open, memories of happy times, expressions of sadness, compliments about the game, and even concern for Henry and the Moderators have been very touching, and much appreciated.

Henry says there is no need to worry about him, the Moderators and the rest of the Pandanda Staff and Team. They will be fine. They are sad, of course, as they know you all are. It is hard to lose something that means a lot to you.

Henry and the rest know that each of you will be fine, too! They hope that you will find something new and fun to do in the time that you used to spend in Pandanda. Read, write, dance, sing, exercise, play outside, explore new things, maybe even find a virtual world that is almost as fun as Pandanda has been!

 Pandanda has closed so you can send any Pandanda memories that you want to share. Please send them to pinguandsafespdconsole@hotmail.co.uk and make sure to include your Pandanda name.

The Farewell Party has been and gone at 11am Pandanda Time yesterday, Sheriff Steele, Mod MoonGlow, and Henry visited Pandanda. They tried to see as many pandas as they can, so they traveled a lot, saying their goodbyes to our friends. But if, for some reason, they didn't get to see you personally, they send out all their Pandanda thanks, love, and best wishes to you all!
Goofyericson got to see the Farewell Party and she took pictures and put them on in the last post!

I (Pingu83846) leveled up to Level 51 for the last time yesterday.
